Waynetown July 10 – Mrs. Nancy C. Felton, 79 died at 8 o’clock last evening at the home of a son, John Felton, 601 S. Green Street, Crawfordsville. She was born Feb 14, 1857, seven miles south of Waynetown in the Alamo vicinity, a daughter of James and Mary Krout and was married 52 years ago to Millard Felton who died in 1901. She was a member of Alamo ME Church and all her life was spent in and near Alamo. Surviving are two sons, Bert of Battle Creek, Mich and John with whom she had made her home for several months with 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. The body will lie in state at the Alamo ME Church Saturday afternoon from 3:30 to 4 o’clock and at the funeral will be held there at 4, with Rev. Guy E. Tremaine pastor, officiating; interment in Weir Cemetery, east of Alamo. - kz
